PBBM was referring to the welcoming presence of former vice president Leni Robredo during the inauguration of the Sorsogon Sports Arena Thursday, October 17, 2024.
The former vice-president was invited by SP Escudero to grace the inauguration leading to an initial steps for “political reconciliation” between President Marcos Jr. and former VP Robredo.
In a reaction SP Escudero said that though it was but a simple greetings he believes that it was an initial step that the political pains after the 2022 election may be put aside since it was purely political and never personal for both. It will be easier for them to reconcile Escudero added.
The meeting of the two as captured instant in shaking hands went viral in social media.
