One elementary school in Sorsogon chosen face-to-face classes begins Monday

In Sorsogon, one elementary school only was chosen among 9 schools in Bicol Region for the pilot run of face-to-face classes starting Monday, November 15, 2021.

The pilot face to face classes started in Barangay Buenavista in Sorsogon, coinciding with the start of pilot face to face classes nationwide on Monday.

Ten students in first, second and third grades at Buenavista Elementary School in Bacon District, Sorsogon City returned to school after more than two years of pandemic.

Buenavista Elementary School is just one of a hundred schools nationwide that have been allowed to be included in pilot testing by the Department of Education (DepEd).

The said pilot face- to face classes at the only elementary school in the province were prepared by parents and teachers through vaccination and continued adherence to standard health protocols implemented by the local government, DOH and IATF.

180 students from first to sixth grade were rotated for the next few days of its implementation.
