The missing Ateneo de Naga University female student, Irish Mae Payonga, was found dead, naked in a grassy lot.
The body of the missing woman was retrieved in the grassy area of Barangay Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur, on Monday afternoon, October 31, 2022.
The victim’s mother confirmed the dead corpse as her daughter Irish Mae who was an 18-year-old Senior High School Student of Ateneo de Naga University, who was first reported missing last Friday, October 28.
Clothes matching Irish’s denim jacket, black shirt, denim pants and white rubber shoes were found in the area.
Her last message before she disappeared was saying goodbye that she was going to the CWC, Pili via text message. CWC is a water sports resort at the Provincial Capitol complex in Pili.

The victim had no clothes on and was covered with sacks of cement when she was found by a child searching for scrap junks in the area.
Meanwhile, the aunt of the victim, Edna Manguid, earlier posted on Facebook at around 7 p.m. confirming her niece’s death.
“Confirming that the body in the sack was my missing niece, Irish Mae Maguigad-Payonga.”
“If you have any information on this brutal killing, please reach out to us and the police. Take care of your teenage girls, please!”, she added.
The victim was a resident of Zone 1, Barangay Marupit, Camaligan, Camarines Sur.
