The Local Government Unit of Gubat, Sorsogon does not condone nor tolerate any illegal acts of its employees.
This is in relation to the recent apprehension of one of the Sangguniang Bayan employees on alleged illegal drug activity which was carried out by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU), Police Regional Office V.
The apprehension is a clear manifestation that the anti-drug agencies are seriously carrying out its campaign against illegal drugs.
Thus, LGU Gubat supports this campaign as it aims to achieve a drug-free municipality.
Rest assured that the incident is an isolated case, and does not reflect the core values of LGU Gubat.
