The idea looks kinky but too sexist as gays can have roofs over their heads, but none to other LGBTs.
Only for gays, none to lesbians, transgenders, the machos? That discriminating?
Sorsogon Tourism Officer Bobby Gigantone disclosed on Thursday that home for “homeless” gays is in the offing.
It will be a project of the Sorsogon Provincial Government after Mr. Zaldy Jebulan donated land for homeless gays.
“We have nothing, but pride and gratefulness for Mr. Zaldy Jebulan for donating land for the construction of a home that will house homeless gays,” Gigantone said in his FB post.
Mr. Jebulan donated 1,500 square meters of land to the Provincial Government of Sorsogon as a way to show his solidarity and compassion for gays who have been turned away and have nowhere else to go.
“Governor Chiz Escudero’s Kada Sorsoganon Magdanon line rings true for everyone no matter who they are,” Gigantone said.
“And we are thankful for his inclusive support for the gays.”
After preparing the documents, surveying the land, and finalizing of plans, construction shall begin and all Sorsoganons belonging to the gay community that need a roof over their heads are welcome.
