Father Philippe Andrew Gallanosa, station manager of DZGN FM radio owned and operated by the Good News Foundation of the Diocese of Sorsogon, is Covid-19 positive.
His RT-PCR test was found positive and was symptomatic last Saturday , but in self-isolation by Sunday evening last week.
Early Tuesday morning, (June 15, 2021) his swab was taken, despite of a mild symptom but doing fine.
The Catholic priest is requesting prayers.
The priest pleaded that his primary close contacts last Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday should undergo self-isolation, and if there is onset of fever, colds and other physical discomfort, he urged them to contact the nearest health worker.
He was referring to contacts less than a meter without wearing a mask for more than fifteen minutes, and those he met in an enclosed setting.
This primary close contact criterion is part of the Diocesan Circular to prevent COVID-19, issued by Bishop Alan Dialogo after his vicar-general and parish priest of St. Anthony Parish of Gubat town tested positive for the virus.
