The Philippine Coast Guard issued a Maritime alert today June 1, 2021. informing the public that the waters surrounding the Bicol Ports are rough to very rough.
Their data indicated that 463 persons, drivers and helpers are stranded in different ports aside from 161 rolling cargoes and 9 vessels. It also mentioned that 9 vessels and a motorbanca took shelter anticipating heavy weather from Dante.
The Maritime Alert covered the Ports of Victory, Tabaco, Pio Duran, Rapu-rapu, Bacacay in Albay province, the Port of Matnog in Sorsogon and the Ports in Masbate, Placer,Cataingan, Aroroy, Pasacao and San Andres.
It advises sea crafts, vessels to suspend sea travel until the weather is normal.
