Center for Migrant Advocacy (CMA Phils), in coordination with local affiliate group, Poblacion Overseas Beneficiaries Association (POBA), in Tigaon, Camarines Sur, gave food packs to repatriated OFWs affected by the pandemic in November and December, last year (2020).
The relief activities benefitted 19 repatriated OFWs in Tigaon, a humanitarian initiative from CMA Phils led by executive director, Ms. Ellene Sana, in coordination with POBA President Ernesto M. Morte Jr, Vice-President Monet Rubia, Board Directors Conchita Panuelos, Anilou Peraman, Delfa Payra, Janet Morte, Herbert Victor Ramos, Joey Natividad and Secretary Joel Gavis. POBA is an OFW group in Tigaon whose objective is to unite active and inactive OFWs for the purpose of availing government technical support and assistance being offered by OWWA.POBA members and the repatriated OFWs expressed their appreciation and gratitude to CMA Phils and Ms. Sana and her staff who are based in Quezon City.
