Castilla Mayor Bong Mendoza of Sorsogon said the thrust now under the new normal is adding more skills for survival, and utilizing new equipment.
“Observing the EDSA People Power Revolution, there is the need to unite efforts and courage to survive and achieve the better nation we have, we also take pride in promoting survival in the new normal after being greatly affected economically by the pandemic”, said Mayor Mendoza in a statement.
The Local Government Unit of Castilla, through the continuous support of projects by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), provided active MSMEs their brand new equipment for Food Processing.
These equipment create new opportunities to improve their businesses and be able to contribute more in the economic progress of this locality despite public health emergency.
Mayor Bong Mendoza challenged local entrepreneurs to not only improve their crafts but also exceed their goals in providing quality products and services.
