Calida of COA resigns from post after snub by Commission on Appointments

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin confirmed on Tuesday, October 4 that Jose Calida has resigned as chairperson of the Commission on Audit (COA),

Reports said Calida was among the Presidential appointees who were bypassed by the Commission on Appointments (CA) and not included among the bypassed officials reappointed Tuesday by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

COA also confirmed Calida was not among the bypassed officials who were reappointed by President Marcos Jr.
