In the latest report of DOH Bicol, the region registers 212 cases from 5 provinces, except Camarines Norte.
The COVID-19 update as June 19, 2021; Albay has 39 cases, Camarines Sur – 68, Catanduanes – 23, Masbate – 46, and Sorsogon 36.
Bicol region has 16,153 total cases from March 27, 2020 to June 19, 2021.
As of today, active cases of 5,552.
To counter the continuous Covid 19 spike, strict health protocols have been enforced.
Few days ago, Camarines Sur was placed under General Community Quarantine (GCQ), June 18-30.
Albay also imposed GCQ on June 16 up to June 30.
Hard hit Naga City already imposed Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ).
Government hospitals in Naga City and Legazpi City are now in full capacity, closing their doors to new patients.
