Twelve (12) suspects were arrested in Laguna for the death of a 23-year-old student in Bulan, Sorsogon.
The victim died from hazing by Tau Gamma Phi fraternity in 2020, a police report said.
According to a report, the suspects were meeting to prepare for the anniversary of their fraternity at a house in Brgy Lawa, Calamba, Laguna when the authorities raided them.
They were identified as Mar Charnel Fajardo, 22; Arman Sound Jr., 23; Arvin Nuṅez, 25; Ronnel Balaguer, 25; Johnson Gealone, 26; Runy Gerero, 35; Remdrant Gerolao, 34; Reniel Guran, 32; Archie Dipon, 43; Ronmark Godala, 24; Billy Bertania, 31 and Ulysses Berania, 29, all are residents of Bulan.
There are allegedly 10 other wanted persons with warrants of arrest in the same case, who are still at large.
The suspects went into hiding after the hazing of 17 Tau Gamma Phi neophytes that took place in Bulan on February 16, 2020.
The hazing killed criminology student Omer Piolano Despabiladeras, a resident of Barangay Zone 4 of the said town.
The suspects are considered the top 10 most wanted persons of PNP Region 5.
The suspects, in the pending case of violating the Anti-Hazing Law, have no bail.
The accused are already in the custody of Bulan MPS and are scheduled to be brought before their court of origin.
