TINAMBAC, Camarines Sur – The local government here ordered private resorts closed until further notice, and bans pictorials, holding of birthdays, anniversaries, and other occasions in these private resorts.
Tinambac Mayor Ruel Brioso Tuy ordered this temporary closure of private resorts after another Covid-19 case, the 40th case, was reported in barangay Bagacay.
Tinambac has resorts and beaches that are known tourist destinations.
Mayor Tuy ordered the temporary closure on Monday, May 3, 2021, until further notice.
In the order, he said this measure is to address the spread of Covid-19, and to align it’s campaign with the nationwide goals of fighting off the upsurge of Covid-19.
He ordered all town and barangay protocol enforcement units, front-liners, medical- responders, and barangay officials to follow the implementation of the order.
