The six provinces of Bicol will each receive a rescue truck which will be turn-over by the Bureau of Fire Protection 5 anytime soon. It coincided with the launching of the 3rd Batallion Special Rescue Force of BFP 5 and the donation of a five-hectare lot of the city government as the new site for the fire bureau regional office.
The rescue trucks is a commitment to modernize and upgrade the technical rescue operation even in the toughest condition.
Present during the turn-over on April 16 was Chief Fire Director Jose Embang Jr, and Ligao City Mayor Paticia Gonzales-Alsua.
