Seven students from the town of Casiguran were the first recipient of Project Smile a component of Dental Health for All an attached agenda of “Kalusugan” aimed to restore confidence among schoolers who dreamed that their tooth gap are remedied by false teeth.
The restoration of tooth gap was done at the Casiguran Rural Health Unit by the provincial dentists who will be taking Project Smile to other municipalities province wide.
The beneficiaries and their families expressed their gratitude to the planners of the program that what they cant give to their children is now but an arms length to become a reality.
The 7K agenda was a pilot project of Governor Edwin Hamor evolving the most pressing development agenda of the province funded in millions that each town and the city were tasked to allocate 40 percent of their budget as cooperators of the program.
