The social media is awash with negative comments directed to Palace spox Harry Roque confinement at Philippine General Hospital on short notice while patients of worst condition queued for admission.
Roque got a preferential treatment booking a room at once which did not escape the ire of ordinary Filipinos. A twitter user@ nico quijano has this to say “May room pala talaga sa VIP. Kahit people are dying waiting to be admitted”(VIP has a reserve room though patients are dying waiting to be admitted). Christine Santos was asking in her comment “Sino kayang kawawang pasyente ang inagawan ng pwesto ni Harry Roque sa pila?”(Who is the poor patient whose slot was grab by Harry Roque).
The spox is not the first cabinet member who exhibited power without remorse.
