OAS, Albay – Two young teachers, John Kenneth Recuenco and Rizza Saberdo from this town introduced a novel community pantry that offered school supplies for school children whose parents are hard-up to meet the need in-demand supplies needed to answer the modules such as pen, tablet paper, art materials, pencil, and other materials useful in complying with certain tasks in the modules.

With the loss of income for some of the parents, school supplies become less of spending priorities. By launching an educational community pantry, in a little way, the problem is a bit solved.

Their Educational Community Pantry is aimed to support the overburdened family’s ability to buy school supplies for their school-age children and hopes to bring a message of confidence that along the way, their needs will be met even half of it.

It is also calling their town mates to share.
