SOSOGON PROVINCE – The last two days the Provincial Health Office confirmed 37 new active cases out of the registered 1239 cases 179 among them are active. The data revealed that there are 1013 recoveries but it registered its 47th death.
On May 1, 16 people tested positive of COVID-19 residents of Sorsogon City and from the towns of Pilar, Donsol, Irosin, Magallanes, Gubat, Matnog, and Sta. Magdalerna.
Among them is a government employee who is a close contact of Bicol Patient No. 7279 and with a travel history to Legazpi City, an entrepreneur, a two-year-old infant, a 6-year-old boy with travel history from Teresa, Rizal, a 15-year-old girl while the 9-year-old boy was a close contact of Bicol Patient No. 7265. Also, a
housekeeper, company technician, computer technician, tricycle driver, barangay health worker and a front liner were identified among the new positive cases recorded.
