LTO Bicol on the lookout for colorum vehicles from NCR

With the upstick of COVID 19 cases in the National Capital Region (NCR) with an extended ECQ, enterprising vehicle owners opt to ferry passengers to Bicol thereby increasing the risk of the virus spread in the region.

Land Transportation Office (LTO) Bicol coordinating with the PNP and the military before the latest directive from DOTr already apprehended colorum vehicles ferrying passengers without the minimum required of health protocols. Such instances increased the risk of spreading the virus.

In an appeal to those who intend to return to the region they should not consort to use during their transit colorum vehicles. Operators of the vehicles upon apprehension will be slap a minimum of 6,000 pesos and may be fined a million pesos according to the transportation bureau. All are advised to find a legal way to re-enter the region and be part of the solution to contain the spread of the virus. I BicolExpress.News
