For its quality management system, the Certification International Philippines, Inc. (CIPI) granted the distinction to the local government unit of Sorsogon City as the first city in the Bicol Region to be certified as ISO 9001:2015 on its business operations and public service delivery.
The Certification covers all functioning areas, has no exclusion to the requisites of international standard, distinct for it received the certification battling the pandemic crisis.
The two audits conducted were fifteen days apart. It also distinguished itself for the prompt submission of audit report findings on the same date when it received the audit report making possible the proclamation of the Certificate to the city government in a five-day period after submission of the corrective action.
With the Certification, the public will experience a brand of business operation and public service base on timeliness, the economy as an internal control measure.
