Bicol tightens border control

Legaspi City – The Bicol IATF-MEID imposed a tighten border control in Tabugon Sta. Elena, Camarines Norte and at the Andaya Highway, Del Gallego, Camarines Sur. The birder control will be assisted by the PNP.

NCR Plus non-essential travelers and those from areas under the Modified Enhance Community Quarantine will be denied entry to Bicol region, they will be turn back to their place of origin.

Those Bicol-bound travelers from areas under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) and the more relaxed Modified GCQ are required to present negative RT-PCR results when entering Camarines Sur and Sorsogon.

While Albay, Camarines Norte, Catanduanes and Masbate consider negative results of antigen test to those entering, seaports and airports. The four provinces are classified as moderate risk areas to COVID-19.

The health protocol may vary from one LGU for travelers to be aware of using terminals, seaports and airports as their point of entry.

Though the movement of Authorized Persons Outside of their Residence(APOR)by land, sea or air within and across areas under any form of quarantine is allowed however whenever required for antigen testing by an LGU they will undergo testing to be administered by the health centers for free.

Other travelers not covered by APOR are required to follow health protocols of the locality upon entry.
