Forty one (41) more persons were registered as positive of Covid-19 in the past two days in Sorsogon Province, according to the latest update by the Provincial Health Office.
According to PHO, on June 3, 23 persons were registered as Covid-19 positive.
Included among the list of Covid-19 infected persons is Casiguran Vice Mayor Dennis Alfonso Escudero.
In the past days, several Sorsogon public officials contracted the virus, the Vice Governor, 2 Provincial board members, several public officials and councilors.
Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero identified the patients as listed online by the Sorsogon Provincial Health Office.

As of this day, June 5, 2021, there are 1903 registered COVID-19 cases in Sorsogon Province, with 283 active cases, 1536 recoveries, and 84 deaths.
