SORSOGON PROVINCE – The latest update released by the Provincial Health Office recorded 68 new positives of COVID-19 raising its total to 203. The new addition is from Sorsogon City, Pilar, Donsol, Castilla towns of the first district and Juban, Bulan, Matnog, Irosin, Bulusan, Gubat and Pto. Diaz all in the second district.
Among those who were confirmed positive is the wife of a town mayor and a provincial board member. A nine months old baby girl was also in the list aside from her a four-year-old toddler is listed and 17 other minors. The newly recorded cases include 91 senior citizens the oldest is 91 years old.
Most of the identified cases are in close contact with Bicol Patients. One of them is an LSI with a travel history to Camarines Sur while another confirmed case is confined in a Legazpi City hospital.
The death toll stands at 71.
