A policeman guarding a checkpoint in Bulan, Sorsogon, was hit by bullet on his left thigh from an unknown sniper, and survived after being rushed for treatment.
The name of the policemen was withheld, but was reported as a native of Malinao, Albay.
The sniping incident happened at about 3 pm Wednesday afternoon at a checkpoint at Barangay Sta. Teresita, Bulan.
He belongs to the 2nd Police Mobile Force Company or PMFC in Sorsogon.
