Prizes in the ProgresiBONG Mayors Cup Inter-Barangay Basketball Tournament will reach 138,000.00 pesos for the basketball sportsfest in Castilla, Sorsogon. which will start on September 3, 2022, at the San Rafael Covered Court, Barangay San Rafael.
According to the office of Mayor Isagani “Bong” Mendoza, all participants from the 25 barangays are required to attend the Sports Clinic this week to undergo briefing about the House and Ground Rules of the Tournament.
Each player is required to undergo FINAL SCREENING by the Committee itself for validation that all players are legitimate Castillano, and the players are at age of 25 years or below.
Each team must have its Muse to prepare for the Award of the most beautiful and talented candidate, except for participating in the Motorcade that will be done before the start of the game itself.
Mayor Mendoza also increased the game prizes:
Champion – 50,000.00
1st Runner Up – 30,000.00
2nd Runner Up – 20,000.00
3rd Runner Up – 10,000.00
Except for Special awards with prizes:
Mythical Five – 10,000.00 (2,0000 each)
Most Valuable Player – 5,000.00
Best in Coach – 3,000.00
Best in Uniform – 2,000.00
Best in 3 Point Shooting – 1,000.00
Best in Dribbling – 1,000.00
Best Muse:
1st Runner Up – 3,000.00
2nd Runner Up – 2,000.00
3rd Runner Up – 1,000.00
