Bad weather forced a passenger boat to sink off Capul Island, Northern Samar, and the passengers were rescued safely.
The passenger boat, bound for Capul, sank at 4PM Tuesday, December 7, 2021 inside of the municipal water off Barangay 4, Capul Island.
According to initial report, the ill-fated boat that sank came from San Isidro, Northern Samar, and the passengers were rescued by another passenger boat sailing from Matnog, Sorsogon.
The boat was loaded with a generator set that would have been used throughout the Island for their power supply, and other basic goods that passengers brought on their way home.
