SOROSOGON CITY – The towns of Bulan, Juban and Donsol are now ina State of Calamity due to the devastation of Tropical Storm Kristene.
In Executive Order No. 35-2024 Governor Edwin Hamor delegated to the local city and town executives to determine if warranted the extent of damages merits the declare a state of calamity after assessing the damages in their localities.
Thus far the towns of Bulan, Juban and Donsol are now under the state of calamity. They can use the allocated 5% from their development fund as a calamity response fund aside from their Quick Response Fund for the purpose.
