The collapse of an ongoing flood control dike has caused the Local Government of Guinobatan in Albay Province to conduct an investigation.
Two contractors are summoned to appear before the town council to shed light on why an ongoing flood control dike had collapsed.
Sources say Farida Co, sister of Ako Bicol Representative Zaldy Co and Chino Lubiano a Sorsogon -based contractor and son of DPWH District Engineer Walter Lubiano are now allegedly in hot water on the issue of a flood control dike project that collapsed.
Guinobatan Vice Mayor Anne Gemma Ongjoco summoned the two contractors to explain before the Sanggunian Bayan (SB) which is now conducting a probe on the incident.
Vice-Mayor Ongjoco gave the town council’s Committee on Public Safety and Public Order and Committee on Infrastructure and Public Works to do the probe.
